Description A DELICIOUS TRADITIONAL PESTO RECIPE The Prunotto Mariangela organic Basil Pesto is a ready-to-use sauce, and the Basil Pesto contains the flavours of summer. ‘Pesto’ is an Italian word that translates ‘crushed’, and the basil pesto is one of the most traditional pestos. The organic Basil Pesto is a versatile sauce that can be put to many uses: It is an excellent pasta sauce. To use it with pasta, dilute it with a little of the water used to cook the pasta before mixing; then pour it on the drained pasta and mix well. It will take 2 or 3 teaspoons of pesto per person. If desired, add a drizzle of raw extra virgin olive oil and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
