Description Our correct version of the WWII Luftwaffe Officer’s Dress Shoes are sandard footwear for officers’ service and parade dress, worn with the Waffenrock or Tuchrock uniforms. Crafted from high-grade black or dark brown polished leather (both available here), these low-cut lace-up shoes featured a closed-lacing (Oxford-style) front and smooth, glossy finish. The soles were stitched leather (hand lasted), reinforced with a thin steel toe or heel plate for durability and precise marching alignment. Privately purchased, these shoes were made to a higher standard than enlisted issue, with leather lining, stitched welt construction, and a slightly elevated heel for formal presentation.
