WWII German Luftwaffe Tropical Boots – North Africa and Mediterranean Pattern

Description Our 100% exact replication of the WWII Luftwaffe Tropical Boots are developed for air and ground crews serving in North Africa, Italy, and the Mediterranean theatres. Constructed from tan or olive canvas uppers (either can be chosen on the product selection menu) combined with natural leather reinforcements at the toe, heel, and eyelet areas, these boots were designed for ventilation and lightweight comfort in extreme heat. They featured a lace-up front with 8 eyelets, a stitched leather, and internal reinforcement for durability. The design provided flexibility while reducing fatigue, making them ideal for long wear under desert conditions. Two main versions were produced: the tan canvas-and-leather hybrid (1941–42) and the later olive-green all-canvas model (1943–44), both retaining Luftwaffe-style soles and construction techniques – both are available for sale here.
