Description Our perfect replication of the WWII German Luftwaffe Leather Greatcoat is a distinctive and prized issue worn by flight and ground officers, designed for durability and protection in harsh weather. It is constructed from high-grade, heavy cowhide ( horsehide leather in dark brown or black finish was also used). The coat features a double-breasted front with large lapels, shoulder boards, and an adjustable waist belt. The full-length design offered warmth and wind resistance, often lined in wool or cotton flannel. Standard versions included slash side pockets, interior pockets, and correct Luftwaffe-style buttons.
