This charming guidebook to Paris was printed locally in 1934 by the historic Henon Printing House and distributed by the world-renowned Grands Magasins du Louvre, a lavish French department store. Photographs of the retailer and local attractions are accompanied by recommended tours and pertinent traveler information. A large fold-out map by L. Guilmin highlights the Paris Metro network and pinpoints the location of Grands Magasins du Louvre, adjacent to the Palais Royal. The store, which opened in 1855, suffered heavy damage during World War II and closed permanently in 1974.
