This lovely view of Asheville, North Carolina was originally designed in 1912 by T.M. Fowler. This is a much later, reduced reprinting, issued by the Geography and Map Division of the Library of Congress (possibly in 2012?). A finely detailed image shows the city of approximately 31,000 nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
