This awesome L.A. promotional piece for Tanqueray gin was issued in 1991, well before the craft cocktail craze and gin became ‘cool’ again. The brand was promoting a rock-n-roll trivia bus tour that operated across the city that summer, challenging participants’ knowledge of the historic music scene in the City of Angels. Over fifty different locations are pinpointed throughout the image, divided into specific decades from the 1950s to the 1980s & 90s. Information on each venue is provided on the verso.
