$39.24
This brightly colored map of the New York World’s Fair was illustrated by Rix Jennings and published in 1940 by the General Motors Corporation to commemorate the 2nd year of the fair. Over 25 ‘typical exhibits’ are numbered and identified, though many additional attractions are visible within the stylized ground plan. Poland, Czechoslovakia, and the Soviet Union all participated in the inaugural season in 1939, but withdrew the following year due to the ongoing war. Text and photographs on the verso describe ‘Things to See at Highways and Horizons’ (the General Motors exhibit).
