Soviet Medal for the Liberation of Belgrade variation 2

Description     Medal for the Liberation of Belgrade    Variation 2 with an U-shaped Eyelet     Made of brass. Measures 32.03 mm in width, 37.22 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 17.3 grams without its suspension.    This medal is in nice condition with medium wear and an appealing toning to the brass. There are several small dings and scratches on both sides but most details remain visible. A good amount of the original gold-like luster is present and its brass suspension is period correct.   One of the more scarce campaign medals    Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Belgrade between 29 September and 22 October 1944.     Please contact us with questions
